If
every occurence we meet seems arbitary, devoid of reason or meaning
this world quickly presents itself as a cruel and unjust place. By
viewing the world around us in this manner one quickly adopts a passive
and occasionally cynical approach to life hindering both personal
growth and progression.
By philosophical discrimination we can find an underlying pattern
that helps us structure what otherwise might be perceived as a chaotic
existence controlled merely by chance. Philosophy thus holds a very
important place for any person treading on the path of spirituality,
for it puts things into context, and provides a firm ground on which
a life in pursuance of transcendence can be built upon.
The purpose of this section is not serve as some forum where knowledge
leads to elitisism. The goal of philosophy is not to build pride in
the recipient, although this often is the case. This is indeed one
of the greatest traps when approaching knowledge, be it of transcendental
nature or the mundane.
To quote Kris Parker "Intelligence is not about how large you make
something, or how complicated you make something appear to be. Intelligence
is about taking complicated and large things, and turning them into
very small and simple concepts, so that the mind can get with it quickly".
In this section we have therefore gathered certain frequently asked
questions as well as clarified some often used, and equally often
misused terminology. As we plan to make this section as living as
possible we will on a semi-regular bases be adding questions and answers
to this part of the site. If there is something you would like to
have further clarified or know more about please refer to our advice
section. Those queries discussed there that we find interesting and
informative for the general public will be posted here.
